A charming Norwegian tankard-style mug from Stavangerflint, part of the 'Norge på langs' series — this is Motiv nr. 1, 'Finnmarksvidda', drawn by Jens Nisser. The decoration depicts a Sami lavvu scene with a gilt petroglyph border at the rim. Base is clearly marked Stavangerflint, Norway. A characterful piece of 1960s Scandinavian folk illustration, in good vintage condition.
